Today I’m going to briefly touch about promoting your site or affiliate link. I’ll admit that it’s not an easy task to do and be really good at it in a short period of time or everyone would be successful, right?
While there are tons of venues that you can dump your site on, it’s a good idea to search what other successful marketers are using and try to model them. There are paid and free advertising sites that you could sign up. It can, and will be tiring to sign up with many and trying to manage them all on a daily or weekly basis. It can be a nightmare. Chances are, you’ll give up even before you make a single sale.
The fastest way to get your links out to your targeted audience is probably paid advertising like Google, Yahoo and other high ranking search engines as trying to get to page 1 on Google via organic search takes time and obviously needs skill. You need a decent budget to pull this off but it is the fastest way to reach your target. Converting them is an acquired skill and lots of trial and error. But that’s another story.
I have listed 11 options that you might want to consider if you are just starting out and have no clue what to do. Some are free and others may require a donation or a 1-time fee. There are thousands out there that claim they are the best but focus on a few and work at it. Concentrate your target market to certain countries or states instead of the whole world.
You only have a few hours a day to work on your ads. Don’t dilute your opportunity by trying to advertise on 100 sites a day, that is, unless you have a few full time staff to do it for you .and they cost money too!
